UCONN WOMEN'S BBALL..WTF?

So last night the UCONN WOMEN'S BASKETBALL team won their 71st consecutive game to break their own previous consecutive games winning streak of 70...whoa whoa whoa, what the fuck am I doing, Black Cawfee talks about real sports not women's college basketball. Sorry about that.

Today's topic is none other then Allen Iverson. Reports have been released that AI is going through some serious drinking and gambling problems. I mean I didn't think that was something that we all didn't know about. At least 99.9% of NBA players have a drinking and/or gambling problem with the only player in the league who doesn't being none other than Brian Scalabrine (just look at him).


AI has always been the center of controversy and no matter what this guy does he never gets the basketball credit that he deserves. So that's what I am going to be doing here today. Let's just start with some of Iverson's accomplishments over the course of his Hall of Fame NBA career; 00-01 NBA MVP, 1997 Rookie of the Year, 11x NBA All Star, 2x NBA All Star Gme MVP, 4x NBA scoring Champ and 3x NBA All First Team and on top of that he took a 76ers team to an NBA FINALS where his only help was Dikembe Mutombo, which in my opinion isn't saying much.

AI dominated when he played. Each and every night this guy would drop 30 on you and make your best defender feel like he didn't belong in the NBA. I mean who could ever forget young AI schooling the shit out of MJ with the most dirty cross over of all time. This is probably the only time in MJ's whole NBA career where you can say he looked like a deer in headlights trying to cover AI. (if you don't remember or will be too lazy to YOUTUBE it after reading this here it is)



All I know is that AI is going to go down as one of the best players of my generation and possbily be in the mix as one of the all time pure scorers the NBA has ever seen. This guy went out there and gave it his all and I don't think it's right for people to be bashing his legacy for the mere fact the guy likes to drink and gamble, he earned it. IVERSON didn't even like to talk about practice let alone actually go to practice and look what type of career he had.

So drink up AI because you've had one hell of a career.
